About:Ā Finca El Carmen is located in the mountains that surround the beautiful El Pino Lake in Santa Rosa. The farm has been producing coffee since the 1950s but the Morales family purchased it in 1970. Ivan Morales and his son, Rigoberto, have begun cultivating new and exotic varieties at El Carmen. One of the more successful varieties has been Pacamara. First found in El Salvador due to a natural crossing between the Pacas and Maragogipe varieties, Pacamara is prized for its big cherries, exceptional cup quality, and complex flavour profile. With notes of blackberry, sweet spices, and tropical fruits there is plenty to love about this coffee!
